Vision
To become a superior study program in Library and Information Science at the national level based on information technology, with Islamic characteristics, and participating in international forums.
Mission
- Organizing education and teaching in the field of Library and Information Science.
- Conducting scientific research and publications that can contribute to Library and Information Science.
- Carrying out community service activities by utilizing information technology.
- Carrying out study program management that refers to applicable rules and standards.
- Establish cooperation with various national and international institutions.
Objective
- Producing graduates with Islamic character and competence in the field of Library and Information Science in accordance with national and international standards.
- Producing research and scientific publications in national and international journals, especially in the fields of health information, digital resources, libraries and Islamic information.
- Generate registered Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
- Contributing to improving the quality of life of the community through information literacy activities based on Information and Communication Technology.
- To create a study program that is well-governed (Good University Governance) and reputable.
- Building a collaborative network with domestic and foreign partners to support the Tridharma activities of higher education.
