Topic outline

  • Mr. Danang Dwijo Kangko, MP is a lecturer from the Library and Information Science Study Program who improves the quality of learning in the Library Automation course. This semester, he is collaborating with several libraries and community reading parks to automate their libraries, and involving students in this course. Cool!! Studying while contributing directly to the community! What's even more fun is that the students' efforts in this project are equal to their final exam scores.

    About the Project

In line with his PKM, this project aims to solve real problems in the reading room. During the second half of the semester, students in groups (4-5 people) will work on this project. Each student is asked to conduct observations, implementations, and evaluations of library automation systems in a library or community reading park. Each group will act as a consultant for integrated library automation system services and products for the designated library or community reading park managers.

The project results that will be assessed are documents (a) proposal; (b) contract, (c) photo or video documentation of project implementation; (d) final activity report; (e) peer assessment, and (f) assessment from partners. These documents will be uploaded during the Final Semester Exam week.
Late submission of Projects will result in a reduction in attitude score of 15 points per day up to a maximum of 3 days late.
