In this course, students learn about the types and definitions of Serial Publications and are able to distinguish them from other types of library collections. In addition, students are able to manage serial publications including procurement, processing, cataloging, storage and service activities. Students will also be introduced to various types of indexes and abstracts of serial publications, both general and special.
