Pada mata kuliah ini, mahasiswa belajar mengenai sejarah perumusan dan pengesahan Pancasila; makna dari Pancasila sebagai Dasar Negara, Ideologi Negara, Sistem Filsafat, Sistem Etika, Dasar Nilai Pengembangan Ilmu, Pandangan Hidup Bangsa; perbedaan ideologi Pancasila dengan paham-paham kenegaraan lain; apa yang dimaksud dengan Negara Berketuhanan Yang Maha Esa, Negara Kemanusiaan Yang Adil dan Beradab, Negara Persatuan Indonesia, Negara Kerakyatan, Negara Kesejahteraan serta implementasinya dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara.
(In this course, students learn about the history of the formulation and ratification of Pancasila; the significance of Pancasila as the State Foundation, State Ideology, philosophical system, ethical system, foundational value for scientific development, and the nation's outlook on life; the distinctions between Pancasila ideology and other forms of statecraft; and the concepts of a state based on belief in the One and Only God, a state grounded in just and civilized humanity, a unified Indonesian state, a state based on popular sovereignty, and a welfare state, as well as their implementation in the life of society, the nation, and the state.)
