Pada mata kuliah ini, mahasiswa belajar mengenai organisasi informasi terekam dan peran lembaga informasi dalam siklus transfer informasi, pengawasan dan organisasi metadata. Juga memperkenalkan berbagai sarana temu kembali informasi pada lembaga informasi beserta standar untuk pembuatan metadata seperti standar pengetalogan deskriptif, pengatalogan subjek, format cantuman bibliografi pada perpustakaan.
(In this course, students learn about the organization of recorded information and the role of information institutions within the information transfer cycle, as well as metadata control and organization. The course also introduces various information retrieval tools used by information institutions, along with standards for metadata creation—such as those for descriptive cataloging, subject cataloging, and library bibliographic record formats.)
