VISION, MISSION, AND OBJECTIVES OF THE 2019 LIBRARY SCIENCE STUDY PROGRAM

VISION

To become a superior study program in Library and Information Science at the national level based on information technology, with Islamic characteristics, and participating in international forums.

MISSION

1. Organizing education and teaching in the field of Library and Information Science.
2. Conducting scientific research and publications that can contribute to Library and Information Science science
3. Carrying out community service activities by utilizing information technology.
4. Carrying out study program management that refers to applicable rules and standards
5. Establish cooperation with various national and international institutions.

OBJECTIVE

1. Producing graduates with Islamic character and competence in the field of Library and Information Science in accordance with national and international standards.
2. Producing research and scientific publications in national and international journals, especially in the fields of health information, digital resources , libraries and Islamic information.
3. Generate registered Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)
4. Contributing to improving the quality of life of the community through information literacy activities based on Information and Communication Technology.
5. To create a study program that is well-governed ( Good Governance) and reputable
6. Building a collaborative network with domestic and foreign partners to support the Tridharma activities of higher education
