This activity aims to provide students with direct experience in village development projects. The villages selected are villages that have collaborated and become partners of the PdSI UYARSI study program. Students are involved in the form of community service and research with lecturers in two partner villages, Bantarsari Village and Ciseeng Village, Bogor Regency. Student involvement in this activity will be converted into 20 credits. The form of student involvement is as research assistants, community service implementers, and content creators for smart villages. The success and sustainability of the village development program allows for the replication of similar activities in other partner villages in the future.
This activity is designed with the involvement of lecturers, interns, and partners. The forms of implementation activities in 2022 include: (1) community service for village archive and document management; (2) community service for smart village activation; (3) community service for managing family libraries and personal documents; (4) community service for retrieving information and preserving village documents; and (5) management of village health data through the development of a village health information system. The implementation mechanisms for 2022 include: (1) implementation of community service and research activities; (2) increasing student involvement in community service; (3) increasing the implementation of smart villages and archive management in villages; (4) conversion of student credits.
